Went out tonight with a few buddies. Saw a girl in a sparkly dress and went up and said hi. Something about her Looking like a disco ball. I negged her and said she looked 69 years old when she said to guess her age. She took a drink of my drink and thought it was going well. I asked if she just came from a Taylor Swift concert (Lana del ray was in town) and joked about that. It was going good for a bit then I felt like my convo started running out of steam. At some point I asked what she was celebrating and she said something and walked away.

My friends said dude that chick was a hard 9 (she was very attractive) why did you let her walk away? I felt I shouldn't chase so I hung out a bit with my friends. We are getting ready to leave and they tell me I have to get her number. I feel like she walked away so she isn't interested, but hey, Yolo right? So I go up to her at the bar and say "hey, type your number in...If you're lucky I'll take you out on a date next week". (I'm trying to ask myself... What would jerk boy do?) She says oh yeah? Trying to figure out what I could have done differently. This girl was a hard 9 and looked great. I think my issue is I ran out of shit to say and stalled... I seem to have trouble getting that hook point on convos. How do I get my convo skills up?
