Hi, so for as long as I can remember I haven't ever made an effort to talk to new people, and this summer I decided to stop being a pussy and give it a go, especially since I'm going to university in a different country in a months time. So I've managed to ask a few people (who I barely know at all) to hang out and get some drinks, but as the date gets closer I'm beginning to second guess myself and am beginning to fear ''What if it goes horribly wrong?", "What if I end up acting like a loser" etc.

Furthermore, as I mentioned before I was somewhat of a shut-in for a long time, so there aren't many girls that I know, as a consequence I've only managed to get two so far who are definitely coming, and one who is giving me super delayed responses to messages.

So trp, my question is, what type of mentality do I need to adopt to get rid of these hesitations? And how do I prevent this event from being a sausage fest? What motivated me in the first place to organize something like this (I have never done this before) is a sort of idgaf mentality where I think, worst case scenario, I make a clown out of myself in front of a few people I barely know anyway, but I don't know how long I can ride with this, and I need some advice, thanks.
