I'm 18 and studying a diploma of web development, I was going well with html/css & sql, now i've moved into php and since then i've slowed down dramatically. I literally just dont get it and I feel like I never will, other areas of my life are pretty much in check and i'm generally positive but god damn is this getting me down.

I feel like i'll never make it, Im having doubts i'm even able to understand it or that I ever will, It just seems like I do the same shit every day, go into college and come out with barely more than what I did yesterday.

My first instincts to talk to my teacher but he can't actually just make my mind click with it and make me understand it, he can only do so much..

What are your guys thoughts? It canes me to admit it but I really need some form of a push here. Brutal or not lay it out for me guys, the more responses the better.
