A girl repositions to be somewhere near you. You're confident (enough) that her intention is to be closer to you. You want to approach her. However, the position she chose is with her back to you. This happens to me regularly at the actual bar, on which she'll lean and face the opposite direction, talking with whomever is that direction - usually girls. Other regular catalysts of this behavior are when I'm part of center-of-attention kind of group, or chatting up her friends.

Short of tapping her on the shoulder or circling the place to come in front-wise, I struggle with positioning strategy here. I can think of some obvious answers, but I'm hoping we can generate a series of ideas in this situation. Any smooth moves? Best practices? Meta-thoughts

Or if this has been answered somewhere else, kindly point me to it!

Thanks guys.
