I've been reading TRP material for the last few weeks, but I have found some things that just don't add up in it's core philosophy. My understanding is that TRP is heavily based on primary purpose and instincts of humans.

The purpose of reproduction. This one is obvious - TRP is niche and it will stay that way because of it's one of main rules that is "no children". If nobody had any children that would be the end of humanity, so naturally somebody has to make those children. I suppose you could argue that in order for few people to win many people have to lose. So blue pill world can take care of reproduction while we do our own thing. So from their perspective we could be considered freeloaders or something like that.

"Alpha fucks beta bucks" is another obvious one. For tens of thousands of years alpha would literally bring home the meat, not just sit on his ass and wait for betas to go kill some squirrels. This is what made alpha. What TRP says however is "you earn the dough, but don't give them bitches any taste" - that directly contradicts the evolution of alpha. Alpha bucks is very real and has been so since before humans learned to walk upright.

"She's not yours, it's just your turn". The whole concept of spinning multiple plates with knowledge they are free to go fuck other dudes. No alpha out there in the nature allows his females be fucked by others - this is yet another core alpha rule that TRP seems to brush away. If it becomes obvious that while I was dating a girl she fucked other dudes - doesn't matter what level she is, I lose all attraction to her, she feels tainted to me and I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way (to clarify - I don't give a shit what she does before or after our dating). Yet this TRP rule requires you to do some mental gymnastics to convince yourself otherwise, but I don't think this is how this shit actually works. It's like convincing yourself to become gay. Jealousy is fucking real - you can hide it, but you can't not feel it.

While reading sidebar stuff - there's contradiction on the subject of plates too - some people argue you should make the knowledge of non-exclusivity explicit, others say be covert and vague. Due to what I've said above I am personally in the covert/vague camp. There's a saying "If you don't know - it doesn't hurt".

I find this sub is very polarized and American/Western experience based. As someone who wasn't born in the west but now lives there I have a much wider perspective on this. There are still large parts of the world where patriarchy is dominant and I'm not only talking about the damn middle east. If you guys went to one of those parts and started talking about TRP, AWALT, etc you would get "what the fuck are you talking about?".

"Improve yourself, women are not the goal, etc" is all well and good, but when you look at the posts on this sub, like 90% of the time some teen going "how do I fuck this chick who's giving me attitude?". Almost every single other philosophy of all times is for improving yourself, that's just too obvious, so when you eliminate that, TRP really is about chasing ass, is it not?

It's like before and after pictures in fat loss commercial. Many of these young guys will crack and go off making babies, it's just a matter of time, in fact some don't even deny it now. There are very few men who will go through their lives without having kids and living alone - I am one of them.
