How do you make a conversation interesting?

It takes two people to have a conversation. It's not your job to entertain people.

Firstly, always approach with a purpose. Pretend like she knows something you don't, and that you want to learn about it. Follow the FORM:

Family; ask about her siblings, and who does she live with etc.

Occupation: Ask what she does for a living, about her coworkers, and briefly mention your own job. If she doesn't work, ask if she's a student, etc.

Recreation: Ask what she does for fun. This one is most important, because people like talking about what they do for fun. It's fun. You can probably get her to talk about this topic longer than any other on this list.

Message: Remember what you initially wanted from her? Ask about it. Ask her about those earrings she's wearing, or what the best item on the menu is, or the best drink in the bar. This is the part where the conversation goes somewhere, and makes you seem like an interesting person. Everything before was only an interesting topic.

Through all of your conversation, verbally and physically escalate. Get closer to her. If she's wearing a necklace, gently take hold of it, to examine it. Pretend that you're having sex while you're talking. Remember what you learned about shit tests, and how to pass them. Finally, when you see a hot girl, don't even think about it. Approach her at once, without taking any time to think about an opener. This is how you work on your improv skills. That part is easy for me, because as an actor I've worked on improv a lot, but most people need a lot of practice on it. Good luck!

To hijack off of this, it seems like most conversations I have are just me asking questions and someone else answering over and over again. How do I fix this?
