I'm seeing it as utilizing competition anxiety to get a girl who's already attracted to want to fuck you faster. I know it also utilizes assumed preselection. The girl assumes you're with other girls, but you're not overtly saying it. What I'm not sure is how exactly competition anxiety is useful game against hypergamy, as Rollo stated in terms of an LTR. I know plate theory is outside of an LTR, but the basis of competition anxiety is similar.
