I understand that most advice given on this sub is from a perspective of US, right? Anyway for some context - I'm from an european country, where divorce rape is not as hardcore as in US.

I'm early 40s and been dating this girl, late 20s. It's been few years and she hasn't yet turned into a raging bitch, which I take as a mildly positive sign. She comes from a stable traditional family. Long story short, she wants a kid. I told her I never want to get married, so she's aware of that fact, but says it's not a deal breaker, what's most important to her is to have a family.

I've done the math and concluded that if I go with this, the absolutely worst case nightmare scenario could be this: she turns into a raging bitch after all, breaks up with me, takes the kid and moves in with some douchebag to spite me and I end up paying child support for 18 years.

So I'm at the crossroads and I get that life is a risk, but would you do it?
