This might be geared more towards younger guys in 20s but i'm interested in all opinions. while i think shit like snapchat is at worst pathetic(snap streak orbiters) and at best a waste of time i do think texting has its place.

I read a book from red pill collection called "the ultimate texting guide for men 2nd edition" and it was published in 2008.

It feels outdated today, but even reading some of the examples in there just made me cringe rather than think it was valuable. The best outcome for these texts seemed to be taking way longer to do something that can be done in person with infinite more chances to fuck it up for no gain.

Now with LTR or FBs texting is a different game but it should still be a minimum in all aspects imo. I am unsure if this is a huge blindspot with my game, because to me even flirting and sexting seems pointless as its just giving away my attention and validation for nothing, and shit is way easier and under control in person anyway. You can't build attraction in text, but you can lose it.

So what is the advantage? The book claimed negging them for not responding and such with things like "why do average girls always play hard to get?" and such sayings. to me it just screams of a guy losing frame and getting butthurt, and doing it over text is even worse. save that shit for in person.
