A friend recently introduced me to a girl, and long story short we talked and since she only speaks chinese and my chinese is very limited I suggested that she could teach me chinese and she suggested that I could teach her english. She immediately suggested meeting up the next day after to study (which I declined and moved to another day because I didn't want to seem too available and I am actually quite busy on that day).

So we kept talking on the phone and eventually the day is coming and I asked her again what time she's free to meet up. She kept referring it to a study session and I know it's not exactly a date though how should I act in this situation? Should I keep it strictly for studying or should I escalate and treat it as a mini date?
