I can't lift either due to health reasons, so I know the struggle. Just address the obvious stuff:

Get a good haircut that suits your head shape from a proper stylist
Keep your facial hair well groomed
If you have any major skin issues, start a skincare routine or fix your diet
Buy clothes that fit which make you look good and feel confident
Buy a couple of mass pleasing fragrances so you always smell good

And of course, you don't need me telling you this, but shower every day and take care of your teeth.

If too skinny and can't go topless in front of females, just wear shit with sleeves and keep that belly fat away using cardio; this way when you're fucking a girl she'll see only your abs and assume that the rest is as good.

Invest a lot of money on the best clothes, perfume, accessories available (Copy what cool chads your age wear). ~~Learn~~ Master game. It's only 1.5 years before you're fit (3 months to surgery, 6 months of recovery and a year of clean bulking).

How old are you? What’s your career situation like? You have lots of time in front of you that you can use to maximise your career prospects - such as further exams / additional learning / career change if needed.

Work out a way to skip as far up the career ladder as possible.

Soon as you get your image back up to date ( dress nicely, beard game and/or grooming, posture and body language) and start slaying, your confidence will go up via abundance mentality.

Lifting is an incredibly important part of smv yet you can thrive without it.

Work on your fashion, style, reading the side bar, learning pickup, learning a language, plans on traveling, increasing your money, learn investing, SMV has a ton of factors not just lifting for you right now. Do the rest and wait on the lifting till you are able to do it.

After reading important information op posted farther down in the comments.

My advice is. Don’t worry about exercise and increase your SMV in that regard. Hell at this point I wouldn’t worry about even having sex as that can be a workout at times. Focus on getting your surgery done and recovery. Once you can gym again go for it.

The surgery is the most important thing right now. Fuck the gym or getting laid.
