Hey guys. I just finished my first sophomore semester and I can objectively say it was my worst. I’ve spend countless hours alone either in the library or in my own rental and I’m sick and tired of being alone, but I have virtually no idea how to fix it.

There’s some retarded part of me that can’t make people stick around. My huge crux is I don’t have anyone to study or work out with and I didn’t talk to anyone in my classes. I don’t understand what it is about myself that has caused me to be alone and without academic support from anyone outside of my tutor. I know the TRP subs often cherish solitude but I don’t buy that: humans are social animals.

I’m transferring to a different college next year where all my actual hs friends went to, but for the sake of the coming second semester, what can I do to prevent another 3-4 months of loneliness?

Just to clarify, I already tried joining the severely underfunded boxing club, but couldn’t deal with the asshole fat-shaming president. Luckily, I’ve found an actual boxing gym close to my house that I’m definitely going for, but for the sake of finding people in my classes, what do typical social people do to prevent going through life alone?
