It's been three months since I broke up with my LTR. I saw all the signs coming and yet I kept digging a hole.

We broke up due to long distance, but since we were staying in touch, we decided to give it a shot. The first week I came to visit, it was over already.

I know alot of it was my fault. I broke a number of boundaries for her. I made myself vulnerable, but at the same time, made the mistake to think that I can be emotional too. I gave. Gave to much and slowly deeply resented it.

She wasn't the prettiest girl I ever dated. I felt like I was a trophy - I've dated much more prettier girls, but I fell for her personality. The amount of care and love. The amount of attention I had before. But now that I've been dumped I feel inferior.

We blocked off all contact but can check up on each other via social media. She's doing well...I "look" like I'm doing fine. But it hurts alot. The breakup wasn't bad, just not mutual.

It's hard to man up. I go to the gym almost everyday and the anxiety and my loss of confidence is holding me back. I push myself everyday, distracting myself with new hobbies, talking to a therapist but I regress back.

How do I keep looking forward? How do I regain my confidence, my charms again and fill this void with myself and not anyone else? How do I make sure I don't ever let myself break my boundaries for anyone.
