I owe my dad 3K€, and when it comes to money, family ties don't exist to him, which is a position I respect and don't argue against.

So there's the deal, I'm currently in the middle of furnishing a new flat I've bought, so all my money goes there, in order to pay my dad asap I'd have to postpone the process, delay my ability to move in, get a second job and probably cancel the trip to Rome I had planned the next month. When I weight it all in my head it seems like too big of a sacrifice, but then again, I think it's the right thing to do. I guess I just need some words of encouragement or an outsiders look on the situation, because I'm unable to vent it out to anybody else.
