Title. When I'm sober I can only hold more 'intelectual' or 'deep' conversations - I make deep questions to girls and they usually respond "don't ask me difficult questions". Thats only natural, as I've been training myself to be stoic since my teens. I have no desire nor can keep a "fun conversation" if I haven't had a shot of vodka.

When I drink I'm actually a pretty fun guy and most people (girls) like me when they just met me, but when they get to talk with me sober her interest just fades away. I'm going through this right now, maybe for the 5th time this year.

I literally only got my last girlfriend because I would snort coke every time before meeting her so I could be funnier. Since I've stopped snorting its been a complete dry spell (I dont drink normally) and I've been fighting with depression (winning, not depressed anymore, but still a fight) since then (a year or so).

I don't think I'm boring and I'm inclined to think I have a good personality because other men my age/younger kinda see me like a guide and seek my advice and its very easy to keep a sober conversation with men. I dont want to be narcisistic, but it sounds to me women are just fucking shallow.

Considering limiting my days of socializing (even through whatsapp or whatever) and having a drink or two on the days I'd socialize. What do you guys think?
