Hey guys. I've been following TRP for a few months now and have recently been implementing it. I've been feeling a lot more confident in myself and have been constantly improving my value (constant exercise, been reading books on leadership to better lead my student organization, became the leader of a student organization, became more confident, etc.). However, when conversing with a good friend, he brought up a good point: TRP is for everyday usage, encompassing everything. He was specifying my home life. I'm a 19 year old Pakistani male living in 'Mericuh. My parents are very restrictive with my going out and socializing. I'm a "poster child", I guess, since I'm the first-born, pre-med major, recovering from depression (I guess this is something to be proud of?). very fit, sociable (though I'd call myself an ambivert since I prefer being in a quiet area though I'm good in all areas). I go to all my parents' friends' parties/ventures and take care of kids and whatnot. However, whenever I want to do something, I'm rarely allowed to stay out past 10PM. They also constantly question my morals, though they've no reason to, on how I go around fucking girls left and right and doing drugs/drinking and other "bad" things. While, yes, I am working the game whenever I can, I haven't done anything. I know that this sounds like stereotypical overbearing parent stuff, but it's a bit worse than that. I'm not supposed to have any contact with any girls that they don't personally know. It got to the point where I've been changing female names in my phone to male names. And if I do want to go to a party or somewhere, I'll have to take a picture with another friend somewhere so I can "prove" I was there instead of the other place. There's constant arguing on my morality for absolutely no reason. Once, after a cross country practice, my dad saw me talking to some of the girls (who were wearing short shorts and sports bras) and beat me fairly hard in the car on our way home. There are a lot of other examples but I don't want to sound like a hamster or something of the like. Should I implement TRP when dealing with them? If so, how?
Edit: Just to clarify, the cross country thing was a few years ago now. I got into rugby and am considerably bigger. My father doesn't hit anymore. I also made a throwaway account to post this but it wasn't getting too much response so I'm reposting it.
