You can start off by adding all your friends and people you know in general. Start off with only one picture , have someone take a picture of you where you look good with a nice background. Keep your account private , you will look ridiculous with a public profile with 50 followers. Don’t post selfies/mirror selfies. There is no point to start being creative about what you post until you have a decent following.

All social media allows is for the girl to find out everything about you in minutes and allow her friends to vet you as well. A lot of TRP field reports in the past of the benefits of not having social media.

I have 15.000 Follower and honestly: It is a waste of time. Yes, it is good for social proof but that is all. You do not have to be active for that. Upload 9 pictures, buy likes and followers , get your friends to comment on the pictures and voila - you have a "big" instagram account

So I don't use Instagram, but one of the prominent PUAs in India does and does effectively. What he does he only posts pictures of his "exotic, exciting, rich" life. So every 3 pictures you're going to have one foreign or exotic location, one picture of an exciting experience like skydiving and one picture of high class/fun food and restaurants. You can build up quite easily from there. Don't think he's published anything on it.
