So after a few weeks of job searching I finally have an interview. Granted it's at Walmart as an instock associate (I'd be loading/unloading trucks) it's something for the rest of the summer and through my last year of college. I've done some searching and every piece of advice regarding interviews seems to be tailored towards big jobs like firms and such. I feel prepared but wanted to ask if I was forgetting anything below. My interviewer is a woman but I've only ever been interviewed by males before so anything I should look for with that? Also it'll be a "group" interview. A few other candidates will be there as well from what I understand.

Here's what I am planning to do..

  • I plan to show up 15 minutes early
  • I just spent some money on a form fitting outfit - face blanked out for obvious reasons
  • I have all of my strengths ready to go and I've prepped my answers for the interview
  • I have a couple questions ready for the interviewer
  • I've done some research on the job position, what it entails, what they expect etc. I am tailoring my answers towards why I am a strong candidate based on the fact that I can do these things well (lifting, some math, time management etc)
  • I will bring a resume and references (is a cover letter too much?)
  • I will use a firm handshake, maintain eye contact, make sure my posture displays confidence, make sure I speak clearly and don't say um and uh etc.

Am I missing anything?
