Is it ethically justified for me to start writing that I identify as a women to game female-quota systems for vacancies for board positions. The organisation in question has historically always just about equal numbers of male and female board members and in the opinion of the organisations management, off the record, an equal number of applicants. It seems absurd, then, to have an affirmative action system in place. In a way I feel ethically obliged TO 'falsify' me gender to either/and ridicule the system and level the playing field.
