I've been part of the red pill community for nearly a year now. I've always known the rule to not open up to women at all costs. A year ago, my best friend of 3 years opened up to me about her problems, I spent the rest of the year helping her with anything like hanging out (going out for coffee/concerts/drinks), not expecting anything in return (just being a good friend) and I'd say her average mood changed by the end of 2018.

A few months ago, I made the mistake of thinking she's different and I could trust her to still see me in the same way if I opened up about something I've been holding in forever. A month ago I started to catch feelings for her and about 2 weeks ago I told her how I felt. It didn't go how I wanted to (but we're still friends). In that exchange she did mention that she had an interest in me romantically and sexually towards the end of 2018 but not anymore, that's when I knew that me opening up was the reason she is no longer attracted to me. She denies that was the reason but it's obvious.

She told me she's been hooking up with another friend multiple times a week for the past 3 months which makes my blood boil. Ideally I want to get over it and move on (which feels impossible cos I've always liked her for 3 years and don't think I'll be truly happy if I "just find someone else"), my other option is to show her that she should consider me but that goes against red pill theory.

Any thoughts?
