I'm in a bit of weird position in my life right now, I'd describe myself as a young, relatively wealthy, good looking and pretty socially skilled person... maybe a bit psychopathic, but the kind of psychopathic that society rewards with money and friendship.
However, I'm unable to find/form the kind of relationship I'd like and I'm wondering if I might be chasing a unicorn.
Essentially, I'd like a relationship that's a bit more "involved" than a one-night stand but not a life-long monogamous one.
Think the kind of relationship you might have with a good friend that you don't necessarily hang out with all the time. A person that is interesting, fun to be with, accepting/understanding (in the sense that you can, say, have an introspective dialogue with them without getting judge too harshly). But, with the addition of pleasant physical contact... which obviously ends up in sex, but, honestly, I care more about the physical contact than about getting myself off.
I know that this isn't a "unicorn" per say, since I've been in this kind of relationship twice before. However, both times it happened more or less randomly. I've spent a huge amount of time dating and using dating apps, but the main problem seems to be that, the kind of people that I enjoy, are looking for a "traditional" LTR (either consciously or subconsciously).
This might not be a question that's best addressed to TRP, but, you guys seem to be one of the few "circles" online that discusses sexual relationships beyond the "get them to fuck you" stage and not limited to the "monogamous marriage" context. It would be quite helpful to me if you guys could even point out some better terms or frameworks to describe what I want or some other communities and/or ways of thinking that could help me.
