I met this nice cute n shy girl back in October in which the dynamic between us was mentor and student. Due to our busy schedules, and my own work which is shift hours, we only met 3 times in the last two months, the most recent was a cycling trip around Christmas day (where she also asked for my facebook first). During our 3 hangouts, I played it cool, let her do 60-70% of the talking, ask me questions, and generally sensed that shes interested in me, but I failed to physically escalate. Also note that she is Asian in a place where the girls are more conservative than the West or EE. Besides meeting up, we have some texting going on the entire time, with light flirting, pinging each other and to set up dates. Yesterday I said we should hangout again before I go on a 3 week vacation in January, and she asked if we shall go cycling again or hiking, another of our common hobbies. After I suggested an only day where I will be free, she replied that she is going hiking with her friends that day without a counteroffer.

Then my colleague took my phone and texted: "want to go with me instead of ur friends? cuz I wanna see u before my vacation ;) "

Her reply: "ha, when will ur holiday begin?"

I replied back the date thinking that my coworker's needy message greatly decreased my value, and she replied "see u when u get back! have a nice trip!"

Now I'm uncertain if she rejected me politely or lost interest due to the needy message, and should I cut all contact with her during my holiday. Or should I send her a pic every few days during my awesome vacation to keep up the rapport? Any solid advice would be appreciated, thanks
