so basically I (19) was asked to join a theater group as I used to do a lot of acting when I was in high school.

The problem is I have no idea who is in this group apart from a couple of people. These people aren't my biggest fans, they were apart of an old friend group where two people didn't like me, they chatted shit about me and now these people don't like me.

I also know that one of the guys who doesn't like me is a bit of a wannabe alpha, really loves himself because he did one theater act with a professional group and now thinks he's a big shot actor which he isn't. He acts the alpha but its more of a loving himself kind of alpha, personally I don't see him as one but I feel like the other people there do.

I just feel like I'm gonna go there (I want to do it, I love theater and whilst currently going through depression I feel like it would help me!) and there's gonna be a lot of negative energy and tension and he'll probably tell other people that I'm an ass which will just make people not like me and will just ruin the whole experience.
