How long are you guys usually able to keep a plate in rotation? Recently I top out after 1-2 months. Half the time they end up expecting more from me, and then they bounce onto a beta who can provide commitment. The other half I think is my problem - I don't vary the way we hangout enough and it gets stale.

How do you guys try to keep things interesting? Go out for drinks every now and then etc?
