I'm an american (20) currently living in Korea. I know no one in the country and I can't help but feel lonely. I've gone out to bars and clubs and had a decent time - met some cool guys (talked to some girls but my game is wack) and got their contacts - but I live quite far from the party districts and meeting up with those guys would be a hassle. Where I live, hardly anyone speaks English and having explored some (read all) nearby bars last night, they are all group-oriented and not somewhere you go to meet people. I am trying to find some people I can chill with or daytime activities to meet people because spending my weekends alone sucks, big time. I have nothing occupying my free time and I don't like the idea of being cooped up in my small apartment programming or learning anything - not to say that I don't do it, but that that's not how I want to spend all my free time.

If it is at all relevant I'm a large black man (one of perhaps 3 in the country outside a military base).

Before it is mentioned:

Meetup and Eventbrite lack quality activities and are mostly just bar advertisements (or things I and most people here would have absolutely no interest in)

I've gotten zero matches on Tinder - so I can't meet people that way (I'm quite attractive, I just need to take better pictures and that requires someone to take them)

I have gone to see the sights, but that sucks to do alone too
