A couple of month ago, I posted about how my co-founder, potentially, fancies me. Tonight, I laid down the law with her and I'm prepared to walk away. We were slated to have weekly checkins every Sunday and well, she misrepresented her desire to get it going. I have sent her the following email and would like esteemed colleagues' feedback.

I do not like being treated this way. Let me explain:

  1. I had scheduled a meeting with you that you had cancelled and never gave a reason for. Worse, you claimed you had and then tried to worm yourself out of it by saying the calendar ate it up.
  1. While this is fine, in conjunction with the radio silence I have received since regarding rescheduling, when you said you'd reschedule "Monday" and then admitted to not doing so paints you in a bad light as a cofounder.
  1. I sent you an email Tuesday afternoon to which I have received no response as yet -- part of the radio silence.

Whilst cognizant that running a startup is difficult, you do NOT flake on commitments to your cofounder. If I do not receive a word from you by Friday with (what I judge to be) a reasonable explanation of your behaviour regarding points 1 to 3 above, I'm out. Tick, tock.

I lose the gig, I go back to making 6-figures in Denmark and don't have to travel back to Belgium as often. Thanks in advance.
