Very new to TRP, sincerely sorry if this is a shit post. But need advice to improve.

Currently working in a resort as a part time waiter as I work on my diploma, last night I approached a guest to get her socials, followed and got a follow back.

First text was "Pamela, hey. Thanks for the followback. Want to hang out sometime?"

She replied with "What about the food you promised"

I said "How about lunch next week? Maybe somewhere you like"

No reply since for about 3 hours, I've already accepted this is a lost cause and moved on. Just want to work on my future approach and know where I can improve on. Feel free to roast and be harsh. I'll take it.

In addition, if she replies what should I do? My instincts tell me I should just end it but I might be wrong.
