Hey guys,

Long time lurker, first time poster. I wanted to get your opinion on something, I’ve made my mind that I’m leaving but I wanted to get your perspective on the matter.

Currently I live in an apartment with a roommate and his girlfriend. The apartment is huge but I can’t stand their lazy ass and habits anymore and will let them know that I’m moving out in December.

The question here is, is it too much of a dick move letting them know a month earlier in the middle of a pandemic with another strict lockdown coming this way and forcing them to look for a new apartment? They’re quite financially unstable and the fees/deposits when getting a new apartment will probably hit them pretty hard. On the other hand, their 24/7 weed smoking and all-in-all their toxic presence has really started to get in my way.
