Can I make plates from girls I meet in the long term? I study abroad but my biggest social circle is in my country amd I recently started meeting women but I have to leave.

My best friends girlfriend never had many friends and we made fun of her because she never brought her friends for us to meet. Lately she's been hanging out with some other women at work and we got to meet them.

The one she is hanging out with the most is cute but there were many red flags for me from the get go so I decided I wont pursue her. (Lets call her A).

Today we met with my friend his gf and her friend(A) for coffee and she brought another girl (lets call her B) with her that we didn't know. A brought B btw just to clarify my friends gf doesn't know B.

She was really hot, and We got along well, and I did some kino but girl A was constantly talking to me so I initiated conversation with B as much as I could, since she wasn't really talkative, I guess because she just met us. She would laugh at my jokes though and I tried to make eye contact with her when I spoke to include her in the conversation and I was touching her leg whenever I made a point. I also took her hand to examine her wrist tattoo.

After a while we had to go and I didn't ask for her number, because it seemed odd that I leave in two days and I will be back for Christmas holidays.

I don't really care much because I study in another country, so even if I got her number I don't really have time this weekend to meet before I leave.

So my question is this, Since I study abroad all the girls I meet through social circle know that I'm there for a short time and they close off. Is it possible to make a good impression and pick up where I left(escalate more) when I return for holidays, so I can have some plates in my country to fuck when I come? Or should I focus only on women that I meet abroad? I am asking because meet these women and they kinda go to waste. I wish I met them earlier in the summer so I could escalate.
