My wife of 8 years decided to break up with me by staying out all night and sleeping with a co-worker. I packed up and immediately moved cross-country where I'm currently sleeping on a couch in Oregon.

I was a stay at home dad for 8 years. I helped build her career. She makes $70K a year. I also have multiple sclerosis. We share about $20,000 in debt, my professional skills are outdated, and I can't afford a lawyer. I do not currently have a job and, as a stay at home dad, haven't worked in almost a decade.`

What's my next step? Is there anything I can do outside of pretending we're not married anymore and just moving on with life?
