Good morning askTRP!

I am seeking some perspective on my situation. Long read, but I have narrowed it down A TON. Would appreciate if you read through and gave me some advice.

I started dating a best friend of over 6 years in January. Foolishly, we moved in together in August. This girl was riddled with red flags; she comes from a broken family, takes a slew of anxiety medication, used to be a heavy smoker, has no idea how to handle money, no idea how to handle emotions, jumped from relationship to relationship in her adult life many of which ended up abusive... I knew all these things, but I was there for her as a friend and I thought I could be there for her as a bf. Plus, fuck it -- I loved her. She is a HB9 - absolutely gorgeous. Best sex I have ever had.

One weekend I went away to spend time with my family. I came back and she broke up with me. Gave me all this BS about how I was too frugal, she didn't fit in with my family, she wanted to travel, and wanted to be with women.

Got on my email on a different browser about a month after this (a few days ago) and it was logged into hers. Saw that she had sent a booking confirmation for a hotel in Italy to her boss. Confronted her about it. Turns out, the weekend I went to go hang out with my family, she felt abandoned. So, she fucked her boss. Cheated on me, then lied about it, broke up with me, and made me feel like it was my fault. After all I did for her.

To make things worse, she and I talked about her boss a lot during the rel'p. He was a total cunt of a man and (i thought) she hated him. He'd yell at her, offer her weird rewards for doing well like trying to take her to dinner when other people would get tickets to a game or something, he'd ask her about our sex life, make her have meetings with him in his car... she was very open about all this while we dated and how it made her uncomfortable. She would always tell him that she was not interested, uncomfortable, he was overstepping his bounds, and that she was happy dating me. I told her she should leave, but never drew a hard line. I know she didn't cheat until that weekend because I was so clear with her from the beginning that I do draw a line at infidelity. So, once she fucked up, she just broke up with me. Tried to keep it from me after the fact, and decided she would just live with the guilt.

She says she regrets it and hates him and wants to be with me. That I am the only one she has ever met who is responsible enough to raise a family. There's conflicting info though, like the trip they booked together through NYE in Italy.

I was in a good headspace about her just breaking up with me, but as soon as I knew she cheated -- I moved out immediately -- just went home, back with the 'rents.

Anyway, the advice piece -- we have a final meeting on Friday so I can get out of the lease. In my broken mental state I asked her to go grab a beer after work. I know I should back out of this and just move forward after I get off the lease; is there anything beneficial at all that can happen at this meeting? Can I get some power back?

Should I ask her to explain herself?

Should I write her a letter explaining how fucked up this is to me?

Should I give her an amount of time to wait before she tries to reach back out to me as a friend?

It just feels like I fuckin lose, man. I get the RP mentality. I know what I should do. But logic alone isn't enough right now.
