LTR and I have been together for 5 years.

Before getting with her, I was aware of TRP. I always read it during the beginning/before our relationship and made it important for myself to make sure I screen a girl for green flags and make sure she follows boundaries I set.

As a result, the past 5 years were smooth sailing. It’s been full of affection, loyalty, and respect. Never a dwindle in our sex life/BJs either. A lot of this can be attributed to me adopted some TRP principles and me constantly improving myself. I have a great career now, have gained 50lbs of quality mass, and dress a lot better compared to when we first started dating. My SMV has constantly been approving. I’m pretty jacked now too and have been called “hot” by others on a few occasions

In the past year of our relationship, we started to talk about marriage and moving in together. She complemented my life well and I had screened her long enough to know it wouldn’t be a big mistake. She already spent the night at my place often, and things would become more convenient and better. We were both on board for this.

Two weeks ago, however, she started expressing doubts. I think she got spooked about marriage and not ever having the chance to live on her own and have her own independence. She said that we would have our whole lives to live with each other and that it could be worth exploring a year living together in the same area, but in different apartments.

This is fine. I am so glad she brought this to my attention before we actually pulled the trigger and it turning into a shitstorm. However, when I think about my future with her, I am uncertain now myself solely because of her not sharing the same timeline of marriage/moving in as we both once did.

I’m a bit conflicted here. She’s been a solid as fuck partner that any man on this subreddit would be glad to have, but I’ve only ever been unsure of us for the past few days. She wants us to live near each other but not together and doesn’t want to marry quite yet.

How do I proceed? In our relationship, she’s always given more effort than me, and it was clear she’s been more invested/scared of losing me. But now I feel like I got dooped a bit and I look like I have more invested, since I was ready to follow our plan we made a few months ago of marrying/moving in, but she backed out recently.
