I'm a 24 year old, 5'0" man who just discovered TRP. I haven't read anything yet besides stories and great explanations by some veteran redpillers. Like most, I heard about TRP frequently throughout other parts of reddit by it being made fun of. I decided to check it out and was pleasantly surprised. Just goes to show you that you should largely take what most peoples "opinions" are with a grain of salt until you do your own investigation. I require direction on how I should proceed, or if I should proceed at all in attempting to raise my SMV, which currently is at rock bottom.

I have severe scoliosis, and since the age of 7, attended regular surgeries at least once a year to install & maintain no less than three titanium rods around my spine. It was an experimental program devised by two skilled doctors whom met at a conference, with myself being the 60th patient. It saved my life and it continued, for that I am grateful. I lived a relatively normal life, losing my virginity as most do around age 15.

Most of the time I could care less, and even forget that I am basically handicapped. But when I view pictures of myself, I'm disgusted. I do love myself and I've never been close to suicidal, but seeing myself on film pisses me off, mainly because I'm the type of person who loves order & symmetry, while my body is quite asymmetrical.

As we speak I'm working on getting rid of that beergut, by weaning myself off a heavy coca-cola & fast food consumption level, as well as trying to crank out 30 minutes a day on the cardio bike.

How new/stranger people usually react towards me (with exceptions): Treat me as if I was a child Treat me generally as handicapped such as holding doors open for me for exaggerated amounts of time Not take me seriously (e.g. If I say I own my own business looked at as if "No way") Treated as if I'm more fragile than glass

My goals: To be respected To embrace leadership To be looked at as a guy who can stay cool and handle nearly anything Form new, productive habits *Give off an aura of inner mastery & confidence

Any insight you could give would be appreciated. I know applying TRP tenets will help improve myself & my health, I just don't know if it will do anything towards my SMV which is not my main focus, but definitely visible on the list.
