She is a very sweet girl, and a lot of bad things have happened in her life. But its really not working out between us, because she needs to sort out her life first. And I'm one of the reasons she's enduring it (at least that's what she said).

Ignore all that, but basically I need some advice from people who've been here. How do I breakup with her? I know its gonna be painful either way, but I'd like to minimize it and not scar her (I'm her first).

Should I rip the bandaid real fast and completely leave, or say that I'm there if she needs me.
