I got married three months ago. It was an arranged marriage in India. We spoke for just over a month before getting married.

It is a mess.

She doesn't want to stay with me or put any effort in the relationship. She claims she loves me but fights nearly everyday with me over trivial matters. My family abused her online and I stood by her. But from that day, she abuses them daily to my face. She wants me to cut all contact with them forever instead of working on improving the issues.

Two days ago, she scratched me all over and bit me in many places during a fight. She verbally abuses me and my parents regularly. But physical abuse was something I had never expected. I have had enough.

I contacted my ex to see how she's doing. Turns out she wants me back. And although I had problems with her, it wasn't anything major. We didn't marry because our parents didn't allow us and they threatened me with suicide.

But now that we have been separated for over a year, we have missed each other a lot and it makes sense for me to divorce my wife and go back to her.

Please help me understand if I am being an idiot.
