So I just recently broke up with my HS sweetheart after 7 years about 2 months ago. I'm 23 now. I've been out, well, I've never really been in the game, but I'm trying my hand. Joined Tinder a few days ago. Yesterday I started talking to a girl who’s just so damn good looking I don't want to fuck it up, which I realized I was. I googled tinder pickup examples and stumbled across TRP. This made it more apparent. Conversations have been kinda boring, I've been talking more than them, wordier and more replies.

This girl specifically: Sometimes she gave wordy/more replies but not too often. After some back and forth I asked to take the convo to text and didn’t get a reply. Few hours went by and I said, "if not then no big deal, just figured it's easier than using the app" and she answered telling me her "phone was dead" so I started with the small talk and when I felt she was getting comfortable once more I brought it up again: "If you didn't mean no before, then send me a text. My battery is dwindling away on tinder. Plus I just really want your number." Convo dies again. That was yesterday. I woke up early today, decided to add a few more pics to my profile One hour later she sends me her number. I wait a bit and then send her a text saying, "Hey xxx, thought maybe your phone was dead again :p" an hour goes by and then she says "no I was with a client" (hair stylist)

I realized I needed to make some kind of transition and do it quick. At this point is when I came across TRP and read a few posts that made me smack my head. I waited a little over an hour to respond and just said "working late?" Another hour passed and just now, as I’m typing this, she responded with “til 7”. I’m going to try and keep the texts shorter than hers from now on. How should I respond? Should I jump right into it and ask her to meet me out for coffee or a drink at 8? Should I even give her the choice if I ask? Should I ask her or tell her?
