I went downtown with my buddies. Got a little tipsy and met this girl, and 2 of her friends, at the bar. After a little talking, I told her, in front of her friends that I wanted to buy her a drink and that I wanted to dance with her. She did as told: bought her a drink, she started grinding on me, all good. Her friends went to the restroom, I turned her around and started making out with her. Excellent. She said she had to leave to meet up with other friends and tells me to text her the next day.

This is where my approach and interactions start to crumble. The next night I wanted to meet up with her. She said that she already had plans about going to a friend's houseparty so here I am, trying to convince her otherwise. I try like 3 or 4 times to convince her to come out with me. I say things like I'll buy you drinks and I'll show you out and stuff. In retrospect, what the fuck was I doing?? Anyway, after the 4th attempt she texts back and says:

She: "Wow, you really want to get laid tonight don't you??"

And I start lying to her about how I'm not that shallow and all this bullshit when all I wanted was to get her drunk, show her a good time and then take her back to my place and have sex with her.

Anyway, she's from my hometown which is 3 hours away and which I am going in two weeks to visit my parents. I texted her saying that I'm gonna be there and she says "Alright, let me know" but I have a feeling that I sounded WAY TOO desperate in our previous texting conversations to even get her to agree to meet up with me.

I need some help with texting. When I'm interacting with a woman face-to-face I am always reminded that I am dominant and I can usually handle shit tests very well; either by agreeing and amplifying or by making fun of it. But every time, I'm texting a girl, I feel as though everything I say doesn't carry the same charisma as if I was saying it in person so I freak and become a lil pushover and pussy.

How do I carry on from this and how do I approach texting??

EDIT: I left my hometown when I was 18 and I have no idea where to take her or where to even suggest a place. It's Dallas, if that's helps with anything.
