I'll make this as quick as possible. I am a 2 tour OIF war veteran with countless scout missions. I do not have PTSD, but i am labeled GAD (general anxiety disorder) in which is service connected, I honorbly discharged 7 years ago. Between 8-9 years ago, before I got out of the military I discovered Neil Strauss' "The Game" and all I can say is "Wow...it changed me" I landed the girl of my dreams, but not without having to lighten up alpha wise to land the goal. Fast forward 7 years of dating with 3 kids and here I am this pass weekend analyzing where things went wrong. She had gradually taken the alpha role, quite quickly too, and now I am beta, caterer and 2nd to all. Everything is on her terms. I backed off this weekend and it was shockingly effective (eureka moment) until I lost my bearings and had a blow up, lost both days of progress. Today is the day I began my search for answers. After finding a book that I am interested in "No More Mr. Nice Guy". I found TRP....my question is...Where the fuck do I start? Have I let it go to far? Also, I'd like to add, I have been a huge proponent of women overall taking dominance in society and men (younger men) becoming more dependent. After reading a few threads in here I AM SO GLAD I have found similar views.
