Just moved to a new city for school and most of the things that i liked to do back home are either expensive ( on loan money and not working while in grad school) or rather far from my location. Most of my hobbies are day time activities such as surfing, golf, etc.

What are free or inexpensive things that you guys like to do after the sun goes down? This question came up mostly due to thinking of a fun date idea thats not going out to eat or drink and since i dont know the area well, its hard to just know cool stuff to look for. Thanks for the brainstorm help!
