Long story short, an old flame from a decade ago reached out to me. Shes a month out of a LTR. Shes visiting here for xmas, than moving back here by new years.

I scheduled coffee to catch up saturday night, while she is here for xmas, she was all over that.

I havnt initiated a text since, but she'll message me every other day. Ill respond and we end up texting for a couple of hrs. She seems really excited to see me.

Now every now and then she will blatantly bring up her ex and how he mistreated her. Shes been saying stuff like "i wasnt allowed to cut my hair, get a tattoo, piercing" "we had to go over the rules of the house every week" and just other suggestive shit. It sounds like it was a messy relationship.

Im obviously being used as a rebound, but how do I respond to this? Its blatent to the point where i feel like she wants me to ask her about it, but so far ive been ignoring it / switching subjects but that can only go on for so long.
