I hate stereotypical party frats, or frats that act so elite with initiations and shit. Nothing productive out of it besides fucking bitches and making friends. Which is like two ticks out of the ten boxes for a good life.

If you are going to join a frat, I recommend one that has a good balance of party life and school life. Responsible, masculine, and productive qualities in the members.

Or you know, just become a popular dude by following TRP rules and spare yourself being forced to undergo initiation, when you’re a guest at the party, and have me come save you.

Uses to be pretty dope but they did a complete change after a few students died and made national news in the last few years.

Join one for the social gains but don't expect it to be like animal house.

I'd say there's more positives than negatives. Get to have a lot of fun, form really tight friendships, and have good connections with (probably) successful people after college. My old boss got his job making 120k solely because of his frat buddies dad running the business, so it's possible.
