Out of curiosity, what do you guys take away from a situation in which you approach a girl you either don't know or are at best kinda familiar with and she starts oversharing almost immediately? As in you ask a seemingly innocent question, she'll answer it, and then somehow parlay it into a convo with some decently personal stuff you would typically reserve for your close friends/family. This stuff could be anything from her own insecurities that stem from the subject to past experiences that have affected her. Not your usual party banter.

Just something that's happened a couple times to me and my immediate instinct has been to comfort and reassure her. What do y'all make of it and what are some best practices to handle it?
