Im a freshman in college, Engineering major at a big 10 school. I have a friend group, we all went to the same high school. We hangout with people who live on our floor with us, but when it comes to parties and drinking we don't hangout with them much. Their reasoning is theres too many people for us to come.

We have haven't gone to any parties yet, me and a friend from my group have hung out in dorms with people and drank

Im having a hard time making connections with people to get us in parties.

What I've been doing is talking to people and meeting people, until I get someone who can hook us up
