So I've gotten back to lifting and am really enjoying it. I'm on the SL program.

I'm consuming over 3000 calories a day and 300 calories above my TDEE. 5'10 155.

No matter what it seems I'm perpetually hungry and it's draining me out and making it hard to focus.

Right now I just had an 800 calorie meal before heading to bed, and I'm staaaaarving.

I don't get it. I've always had a high metabolism and never crossed 13% body fat even when I completely neglected diet and lifting but lifting is making it hard to focus on my life because it seems I always have to stuff myself. It's time consuming and being hungry makes it tough to focus.

I'm not going to stop lifting obviously but for the more experienced lifters here, how did you, if you did, deal with perpetual hunger? It's taking a toll.
