Gotcha. Well thats just how I handle my plates. I don't have that mechanism or whatever it is to try to "get to the bottom of it". It's sort of binary with me. Does she want to have sex? Yes = fuck her if you are horny. No = forget her. Like to me even pondering the question to yourself is detrimental and a waste of time.

nowhere in my post did I ask to get to the bottom of it. This is new strange behavior with clear DTF signs so I'm expecting a trap of some kind and looking for wisdom on how to prepare/handle/avoid next time

Don't give a fuck why she is acting strange. Give a fuck about fucking her when you want to fuck. If she fucks when you want to fuck continue, if she does not leave her alone.
Oddly enough this will work to your advantage and make you seem more attractive but if it doesn't you aren't mindfucking yourself. Win-win.
