I’m moving across the country in a week for school. I have 3 plates atm, and they all know the deal with me leaving. One of them invited me to go out to dinner at this fancy restaurant with her parents. She tried posing it as a “free meal” but this is clearly about meeting her parents. She’s 18, I’m 23.

I almost laughed when she asked me. She’s not my girlfriend and I have no obligation whatsoever to meet her parents lol. But I also considered that I’m an anxious motherfucker and I’ve been trying to put myself in uncomfortable situations to work on my frame.

Is it worth going just for the experience/story or is it ridiculous to even consider?
