It is very true! If you cold approach her and say "you are cute so I want to know you", it make her view you as a lower value man. So you have then to go up and prove to her that you are a value man. Also she knows you have balls to make the approach and that is something in favor of you. But philosophically it is a dilemma.

Just cause you think you are the prize, doesn't mean you'll get women. How can you be the prize if your a fat AFC with 0 game?

In my opinion, it's a loss to them if they don't get the opportunity to pursue things with you.
