Entitlement plain and simple.

He felt entitled to the blue buff without communicating it. The standard rules of engagement of this buff in the game is it goes to mid lane excluding special characters which are energy or cdr reliant like Katarina.

However he doesn't express his intensions or desires and simply expect someone else to break the routine script for him on the basis of his personal social status. ("Lets take the blue buff does not express who should take it merely that we should deny it from the enemy in this case "Zed")

This is an example of entitlement plain and simple when he is denied he has a fit.

If we review it from a transactional analysis point of view like in games people play by Eric Berne

what happen is the streamer in question is deliberately going of script to satisfy his adult ego state. (unlikely his parent as this specific situation is not generally one in which parental value or games would be transferred)

When he is denied his wants he shifts to his child like ego state and goes into a tantrum.

This occurred because rather then communicating his intensions he is purely evaluating his teammate based on his teammates actions. Which in this case is the standard script. As the donating of blue buff to the mid lane is the common practice at pretty much all Elo levels outside of the lowest of bronze.

However the streamer is expecting the player to read his intentions without expressing them based solely on his personal desires and social status as a quasi-celebrity on the internet.

He is playing the game: What's mine is mine and what's your is mine (WMMWYM)

You can tell this is a game and that he shifted states in several ways:

His outward reaction both physical and in vocal
He states the standard script and confronts it without ever expressing his intentions but in his reaction he feels justified by claiming the victim role. "Just because your mid lane doesn't mean you get the blue buff mate."
He claims his right to his based on his social status. "This is a (insert name) game"
he seeks validation of his behavior from the other people on skype directly and the audience indirectly. Behavior which was both selfish and against standard expectations yet he expects and gets positive re-enforcement for it.

If this was a child reaching for a cookie in a jar on a table the child would feel entitled to the cookie because of the work they put in by grabbing a chair pushing it to the counter climbing it and taking off the lid. However when the mother slaps his hand and takes away the cookie. He tantrums. Then runs to the father and says "Mom slapped my hand for nothing." This is pretty much the same situation with a grown man-child.

Why do people do this? Well simply put people feel they are entitled to this based on their input, status, past experiences and personal moral codes instilled by their upbringing.
