For anyone who thinks I'm lost, this is a red pill book.

Can somebody explain to me what Ride the Tiger chapter 1 means in simple English?

Currently, my estimation is that it's saying that traditional men shouldn't be trying to uphold modern institutions because they're garbage. Something like the fifth political movement where we have to "let the past die, kill it if you have to."

However, I'm not really reading that from the book, I'm just sort of guessing about it based upon other philosophies I've heard. There's a number of words and phrases that the author uses which I'm unclear about.

I'm not sure what the author means by 'Bourgeois culture.' I have a strong feeling about what that is, but I'm not very explicit in my own mind about it and I'm not very clear about what Bourgeois would be as a culture.

I would also like to know the author's exact definition of 'traditional' and what the 'Third Estate' is.
