I, as a woman, generally feel unintelligent and incapable of keeping up with my SO and his friends in conversation. I try to keep my mouth shut, but I can't seem to make a habit of it. Is there any way I can learn? I'd like to be able to socialise without feeling like I'm putting a damper on the party. I realise that you can't just become a contributing human being, but is there any way I can atleast make being around me easier on my SO and his friends?

I figured, who better to ask than the people who hold to same ideologies as him.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I just want to please my man and to make sure me living with him doesn't put a strain on his friendships because I'm irritating.
